About the Uganda Wildlife & Cultural Excursion
The Uganda Wildlife and Cultural Excursion offers travelers a balanced journey through the country’s most impressive natural and cultural highlights. The itinerary features a visit to Murchison Falls National Park, known for its breathtaking landscapes and exceptional wildlife viewing, including opportunities to see members of the Big Five. Guests also take part in guided rhino trekking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, an experience that allows visitors to observe these magnificent animals safely on foot.
A cruise along the Nile River provides close views of hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. Time in Kampala introduces travelers to Uganda’s energetic capital city, its markets, cuisine, and arts. The itinerary also includes a visit to Entebbe to experience the beauty of Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa. Cultural activities such as traditional dancing and drumming offer further insight into the heritage of the region.
This trip is offered in partnership with Start the Ripple, a nonprofit that supports a Nursery and Primary School in rural Uganda. All proceeds from the excursion directly support the school and help provide education for children in a village with no other academic institutions.
This experience combines wildlife, culture, and community connection to present a comprehensive introduction to the Pearl of Africa.
